what is checkmyroute?
Ever been late for work, or late getting home because of traffic jams, accidents, or bad weather? We know how frustrating it is to get caught in a jam... if only you checked the radio or the internet before you left?
You’ve got a busy life... you don’t always have time to check your route every day. You’d rather listen to your mp3 player than radio traffic reports. That’s why we made checkmyroute. A service that watches the roads for you – and lets you know only the traffic information that affects you.
Go on, give it a go. It might just get you out of a jam.
how it works
You signup with your daily travel details and we monitor the traffic for you and let you know before you get stuck in the jams.
We get traffic information from the BBC and Highways Agency and work out if any of the incidents affect you. If we think there is a problem on your route we'll send you an alert.
Alerts are sent twice daily and you can choose to have them sent straight to your email inbox or take advantage of our txtMyMail service to get them delivered straight to your mobile.

email traffic alerts
checkmyroute will send you an email if there are any problems on your route.
Your personalised traffic information is checked 30 minutes before your departure time to make sure you have accurate warning of any problems ahead. You'll only get an email alert if there are problems on your journey.
sms traffic alerts
Traffic alerts can be sent straight to your mobile as an sms (text message) if there are any problems so you don't have to check your email.
Alerts are sent 30 minutes before your departure time and you can stop them at any time.
Texts are charged at 10p each and are only sent if there is a problem, making this a great value timesaver.
